Green Island also named "fire-burnt island". It is said that there once was a fire that burnt the whole island when the Manchu ruled Taiwan. In the past Green Island was a jail to keep all the severe criminal. At 1980, it has changed into East coast scenic area, and started to became a famous tourist attraction. The coral reef under the sea is as dazzling as the land. The warm Japan current come from the equator and goes north via Green Island. All kinds of fishes, carols, and invertebrate creatures inhabit in the coral reef. The Green Island's unique under-sea spring and the white beach provides all kind of beach activities. You'll need much time to explore all of them!
