Nicknamed No. 1 Town of Mt. Chian Area, Chushang Township, is located on the boundary of Nan Tou County and Yun Lin County. Just like its name suggests, mountain filled with bamboos brings a special aura to this place. Chin Jhu Jhu Yi Cultural Park is a good place to indulge in that artistic aura, all kinds of bamboo art work will leave you in awe. Don't miss the beautiful scenery in the forests of bamboos, such as Joa Jing platform, Mt. Jhu Hsiu Lin tribe, and the well-known Shan Lin River Scenic Spot. Although the roads that lead to some of the places were destroyed by the 921 earthquake, it left us with good teaching materials such as the Chushang Che Long Pu fault and Sha Tong Gon National Earthquake Park, teaching the next generation the importance of playing the percentages and respecting Mother Nature. Chushang has gradually become lively again after the earthquake, it's awaiting the tourists to let it flourish once more.
